Hi I have an acute anxiety disorder and I used to take Lexapro but I had to stop because I gained a ton of weight. I'm wondering if anyone is on Lexapro with Wegovy and if it negatively impacted your weight loss at all? If so, what other anti- anxiety medication works well with Wegovy?

I’m on SSRI also and not experiencing any complications. I’ve read that some people think the SSRI makes for slower weight loss but that’s hasn’t been the case for me.

Curious if your anxiety was around Food Noise/weight gain/body image to begin with!? I actually was able to stop anxiety meds after starting GLP-1s after getting the constant food noise/obsession under control.
